Get your Busch out!
Settling in Penticton style.
03.11.2010
So, we have now arrived at Uncle Robbie and Auntie Linda's in beautiful Penticton. This place is serious picture postcard stuff, really lovely. Our room is awesome, and as you can see from our video this combined with the views makes for a perfect venue for relaxation and recovery from our recent 'celebrations'.
The snow is still a few weeks away, but me and Gaz really can't wait to get on our boards. Until then we are enjoying meeting the people of Penticton, and have already made a couple of contacts; one of which is the local rugby club Penticton Harlequins whose training we are going to tomorrow evening to meet some of the guys. We will of course keep you all posted as to how this develops. Other than that we are busy joining Facebook groups for a number of local ski resorts and trying to decide where to head in a few weeks when the snow arrives.
Meanwhile, we are doing our best to contribute to life around here where we can. This morning we were stacking logs, and then helping to erect a fence to keep the deer out of the orchards. Good, honest work, and already a few blisters (for George) to show for our work.
We have also just uploaded some pictures of our days here so far so please have a look and feel free to say hi or comment.
All the best for now,

Looks good so far guys. Keep up the blog!
